What's An Essential Oil ?
Essential oils are the life force of plants; these are the oils in plants
that protect them from their indigenous environments. Essential
oils are extracted directly from the bark, flower, fruit, leaf, seed or root of
a plant or tree. Essential oils are highly concentrated and constitute powerful
properties known for their amazing health and healing benefits. Beyond the aromatic
compounds that essential oils are well known for, their healing properties are
far more significant.
How Do Essential Oils Work?
Essential oils are comprised of millions of small molecules that are able
to penetrate the human cells, some compounds even pass through the blood-brain
barrier. Essential oils work at a cellular level, all disease is fundamentally
linked to cellular health, therefore, if we can take care of our cells, we can
take care of our health in a while new way.
When essential oils are transdermal, and once placed on the skin they
enter the blood stream in 30 seconds and into every single cell in the body
within 20 minutes.
